Bayern Munich have reignited their interest in Victor Osimhen, stepping up monitoring of the striker amid growing competition from Arsenal.

The Nigerian forward, currently starring for Galatasaray, has emerged as a prime attacking target for Europe’s elite following an impressive run of form this season. Arsenal are understood to have already conducted an in-depth scouting assessment, with sporting director Andrea Berta reportedly present at Saturday’s Istanbul derby, where Galatasaray thrashed Fenerbahce 3–0.
During the visit, Berta is said to have held discussions with Galatasaray officials over a potential move for Osimhen, who has delivered 27 goal contributions in 31 appearances, underlining his value in the transfer market.
Despite having invested €67 million in Viktor Gyökeres, Arsenal are believed to be exploring further reinforcements in attack, with the Swede yet to fully meet expectations in terms of overall performance. Galatasaray, however, are expected to demand a significant fee should they consider parting with their prized asset.
The Punch reports that Bayern’s renewed pursuit adds another layer to the race, with the Bundesliga giants long-term admirers of Osimhen as they plan for life beyond Harry Kane. The German champions are keen to secure a long-term successor to the England captain, who turns 33 next summer.
While Osimhen remains firmly on Bayern’s radar, the Bavarians are also weighing alternative options, including Dusan Vlahovic of Juventus, as they prepare for a crucial decision in shaping their future frontline.
