Polls Project Tinubu To Win 20 States in 2027 Elections

President Bola Tinubu has been projected to win the 2027 presidential election billed for January, barring any unforseen circumstances.

With four months to go and electioneering campaigns unfolding, Tinubu backed by vast resources and networking is the man to beat according to forecast made by
Political Intelligence Group (PIG) of Politico.ng, which projects the incumbent President to win in 20 States.

African Democratic Congress candidate Atiku Abubakar will win in nine states, Nigeria Democratic Congress Peter Obi in eight States.

Tinubu according to the report will dominate the South-West, and also take Kano the most populated State in the north.

PIG, however, acknowledged that the political situation could change significantly before the 2027 election.

It noted that issues such as inflation, employment, security, infrastructure and the cost of living could significantly influence voters’ decisions.

Atiku will make a strong showing in Kaduna and some states in the North-East and North-West.

Peter Obi is projected to win eight states, with the Federal Capital Territory and Edo State among the areas expected to favour the former Anambra State governor.
