Nigeria on Saturday secured their second win in three games at the FIBA Women’s World Cup 2026 Qualifiers in France.
The Philippines scared the Nigerian ladies by taking the first two quarters 26-21 and 25-21.
The Rene Wakana tutored ladies had to bounce back strong in the last two quarters winning 34-21 and 25-21 to wrap up the game.
The team had earlier won the first game against Colombia 70-37 before losing the second game surprisingly 60-77 to South Korea.
The third game was almost going the way of the second, which D’Tigress lost to the Koreans,but they had to dig deep to out muscle the Philippines.
