The Botswana Athletics Association,BAA has officially left for Seoul, South Korea ahead of the World Athletics Championships, which begins September 13-21.
The team is expected to hold a pre-championship training camp in Seoul ahead of the Worlds.
The camp which will run until Sept 8 will help the athletes to acclimatize ,sharpen their preparations and fine-tune every detail before leaving for Tokyo, Japan.
Botswana joins the likes of Kenya, South Africa and Ghana who have kick started their final preparations for the World Championships in Japan.
Meanwhile Team Nigeria is expected to release its list of athletes for the Championships on Sept.1.
