The Super Falcons will open training camp for the defense of their WAFCON title on February 20.
The 10-time African champions,ScoreNigeria reports, will train in Nigeria before they fly out to Abidjan for an invitational tournament under the auspices of WAFU B to prepare them for the 2026 WAFCON.
The tournament that will also feature hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Ghana and Senegal will kick off on February 27 and end March 7.
This year’s WAFCON, which will serve as a qualifying tournament for the 2027 World Cup in Brazil, will roll out on March 17.
The four semifinalists of the WAFCON will qualify for the World Cup.
The Super Falcons are drawn in Group C alongside Zambia, Egypt and Malawi.
