Osimhen Leads New Premier League Stars To Uyo

The Super Eagles camp is now bubbling and full of live with the arrival of outstanding players ahead of Saturday’s must win World Cup qualifiers against Rwanda.

The latest arrivals -Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Raphael Onyedika, Chrisantus Uche, and Victor Osimhen have lifted the morale in camp boosting the squad’s strength and providing head coach Eric Chelle with a wealth of options in attack and midfield.

Their arrival follows the earlier inclusion of forwards Ademola Lookman and Cyriel Dessers, bringing the total number of players in camp to a complete roster ready for preparation.

The squad had their first training session on Tuesday evening, focusing on tactical drills, set-piece routines, and fitness conditioning.

Another session is scheduled for Wednesday evening as Chelle continues to build cohesion and ensure that all players are fully integrated ahead of the upcoming qualifiers.

Expectation is that Osimhen will bring his fine club form to the team as his presence is a potential goal threat to any team.

In similar vein, if struggling Chukwueze should find his form and rhythm, his pace and skill on the wing on a good day should worry any opposition.

Tolu Arokodare having fulfilled his dream move to the Premier League, with a relaxed mind, should offer additional option to the coach upfront, while Onyedika’s mobility in midfield should give Chelle more direction in transitional play.

Chrisantus Uche’s inclusion further strengthens Nigeria’s options in central areas, making the squad more adaptable to different match scenarios.

The full squad is now preparing to host Rwanda in Uyo before traveling to Bloemfontein to face South Africa, with both fixtures critical for Nigeria’s qualification hopes.

With maximum points required to maintain momentum in Group C, the complete roster ensures the Super Eagles can field a balanced and competitive lineup.
