In an effort to promote international cooperation in the telecommunications sector, HAYAT Telecoms of Tunisia has formally signed a partnership deal with Northeast Telecoms of Nigeria.
The signing ceremony, which took place at HAYAT Telecoms headquarters in Tunisia, solidified the commitment of both organizations to work together in expanding and enhancing telecommunications services in Nigeria.
The agreement will particularly focus on Fibre Optics systems in the North East region and Rural Telephony.
This partnership seeks to strengthen connectivity, facilitate technology sharing, and generate new opportunities for innovation and job creation within Nigeria’s telecom industry.
After the brief signing ceremony, Ahmed Shuaibu Gara Gombe, Founder and CEO of Northeast Telecoms Nigeria, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating that it represents a new chapter in advancing digital communication across Africa and strengthening relations between Tunisia and Nigeria, and addressing the growing need for reliable communication services.
The event brought together senior executives, technical experts, and representatives from both companies, who promised to ensure the agreement’s effective execution.
Gara Gombe added “This partnership will open new doors in digital transformation across Africa and serve as an example of regional cooperation in the telecom sector” .
