The Confédération Africaine de Football (“CAF”) is proud of the 10 Countries that will be representing Africa at the FIFA World Cup 2026TM in the United States of America, Canada and Mexico and is confident that they will succeed.

The FIFA World Cup 2026TM marks a significant milestone for African Football as it is the first time that Africa will be represented by 10 Countries.
CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe said: “CAF and African Football are proud of the 10 Countries that will be representing the African Continent at the FIFA World Cup 2026TM .
Motsepe said “It is the first time in the history of the FIFA World Cup that Africa is represented by 10 Countries. This is a recognition of the substantial growth and global competitiveness of African Football.”
“We are confident that the African National Teams at the FIFA World Cup 2026 will make us proud and that an African Nation will be Champions of the FIFA World Cup.”
He added “We also want to congratulate the Democratic Republic of Congo (“DRC”) for their victory against Jamaica and qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2026.”
