…ABSSIN Number Now Mandatory For Card Payment Processing

The Abia State Government hereby announces the official release of the accredited Enumerators for the Abia State Social Identity Number (ABSSIN) registration exercise across designated bus stops and strategic locations.
This initiative is part of the Government’s commitment to building a credible and comprehensive social register that will enhance transparency, accountability, and seamless delivery of social services to residents.
The Government wishes to clearly state that obtaining the ABSSIN number is a condition precedent for accessing the Abia State Government Payment Card. Residents are therefore strongly advised to present themselves for enumeration at the designated locations listed below.
OFFICIAL LIST OF ABSSIN ENUMERATORS AND LOCATIONS ARE AVAILABLE ON: https://us.docworkspace.com/d/sIASS2I066sWgzQY?sa=601.1074
The Abia State Government urges residents to cooperate fully with the enumerators and ensure accurate submission of their details. The ABSSIN remains a critical gateway to accessing government interventions, welfare programs, and the newly introduced payment card system.
In a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Prince Okey Kanu on March 5, advised residents to interact only with the officially accredited enumerators listed to avoid misinformation or fraudulent activities.
