The Senatorial candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress for Kogi East, High Chief Peter Ameh has formally resigned as Director-General of the OK Movement with immediate effect..
In a statement made available to VDCInsights and personally signed by himself, Ameh expressed profound gratitude to his leader, Peter Obi, for his exemplary leadership, unwavering integrity, and enduring credibility.
He noted “These qualities inspired the formation of the OK Movement and have continued to shape its vision and purpose.”
The former Inter Party Advisory Council National Chairman pointed out “This decision will enable me to devote the necessary time and energy to my campaign for the Kogi East Senatorial District, where I am the Senatorial candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) for 2027 elections.”
Ameh assured that he remains firmly committed to the ideals that united us and wish the OK Movement every success in its future endeavours.
