Jos Killings: Dr (Pst) Enenche Says “Enough Is Enough!”

…Fires 6 Questions For Nigerian Leaders

The Senior Pastor, Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche has condemned the incessant killings across the country, with the latest being the one in Jos on Plam Sunday.

Dr. Enenche, has therefore issued a strong and emotional condemnation of the latest wave of killings in Jos, describing the attacks as “bloodshed and tears” and declaring that “enough is enough.”

Speaking during a church service in Abuja, the cleric recounted disturbing incidents from the past week, including a brutal attack on a wedding ceremony where gunmen reportedly k!lled 13 people, injured 10, and abducted 28 others.

“How does it feel,” he asked, “that on a wedding day, all you get is bloodshed and tears because of devils and their incarnates?”

He also referenced another deadly attack in Angwan Rukuba in Jos on Palm Sunday, where several people were killed and many injured after gunmen opened fire on residents.

In a particularly troubling account, Enenche spoke about a viral video showing a young man being killed in broad daylight near the University of Jos, noting that only a handful of attackers carried out the act while bystanders failed to intervene.

With visible pain and frustration, the preacher posed six critical questions to Nigeria’s leadership and citizens:

1. Why spend resources denying alleged Christian genocide instead of stopping the k!llings?

2. Why prioritize elections over protecting lives?

3. How can a nation progress amid persistent insecurity and global embarrassment?

4. When will Nigeria stop being a negative headline globally?

5. When will both leaders and citizens begin to truly value human life?

6. Why are k!llers not swiftly arrested and prosecuted to deter further violence?

Citing the long-standing nature of the crisis, Enenche noted that the violence has persisted for over two decades but challenged leaders to take decisive responsibility.

“At least one leader should rise and say: Not under my watch. Enough is enough.”

He warned that delayed justice only emboldens criminals and called for immediate arrests and visible prosecution of perpetrators to restore confidence in the nation’s security system.

“It’s time to prove that we have a serious-minded nation with serious-minded leadership,” he said.

The message ended with a call for urgent national prayer, as he urged Nigerians to cry out: “Lord, enough is enough.”
