On the occasion of his conferment of Sportsville Special Recognition Award, friends and associates of Isaac Danladi, the Attorney General of Nasarawa State, have described the award as fitting and well deserved honour.
The Commissioner for Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Princess Margaret Elaho, and some of Danladi’s colleagues in football, led by the trio of Dominic Iorfa, Jude Anyadufu and Alloy Chukwuemeka, are unanimous that the soft spoken former Chairman of the Club Onwers Association of Nigeria, has worked hard to earn this recognition.
In her congratulatory message, Princes Elaho described him as a beacon of hope to upcoming sports administrators in Nigeria.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you for this well-deserved honour and recognition by Sportsville.
She said “Your dedication, leadership, and tireless effort as a sports administrator have positively impacted the sports community in the State and Nigeria as a whole.”

Elaho,who is the chairperson of Nasarawa State Commissioners Forum added “This recognition also serves as a beacon of inspiration to many aspiring leaders in sports,”

Speaking on behalf of the trio, Iorfa, ex international and present General Manager of Barau FC, said Danladi’s contribution to football development in Nigeria will remain the envy of all.
He added “It’s indeed an honour well deserved considering your your contribution to sports development in Nigeria. We appreciate your laudable stewardship as the longest serving chairman of the Club Owners Association of Nigerias,”
In his reaction, Danladi expressed appreciation to the organizers for finding him worthy and promised to do more in the years ahead.
The official decoration of the awardees comes up on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, under the Chairmanship of Dr Larry Izamoje. The event will be held at the Lagos Country Club by 6 pm
