…Private Interment to Follow In Ogun State

The Chairman and CEO of First Zealmediacast Limited owners of FIRST ZEALMEDIACAST BLOG and Sportsgroove Plus, Maxwell Kumoye has announced the burial arrangements for his late wife, Mrs Funmilayo Stella Kumoye.
Sharing a flyer of her burial arrangements on Facebook, Kumoye stated that the ceremony will be held privately, with a memorial service scheduled for Friday, March 7, followed by interment.
The renowned journalist explained that the memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Poluyi Crescent, Ilapo Estate off AIT Station by 11am.
Maxwell Kumoye recently lost his wife, Mrs Funmilayo Stella Kumoye just before she turned 49.
According to Kumoye who is the Chairman Media Committee of Athletics Federation of Nigeria and the Spokesperson of Nigeria Scrabble Federation, the reality of her death hasn’t fully sunk in because she was his cheerleader, prayer warrior, best friend, and gist partner.

In a statement, Kumoye expressed profound gratitude for the outpouring of support and condolences, during this difficult and challenging period the family is going through.
He noted that admission to the private interment will be by designated invitation only.
He wrote, “I want to specifically thank everyone who has reached out since the death of my beloved love wife. I’m truly grateful for the emotional support, the calls, the visits, and the show of love and affection.
“The family has decided on a private interment strictly for close friends and relatives but memorial service is open to all.”
Late Funmilayo Stella Kumoye was born on 22 March 1977 to Mr. and Mrs. Ayodele Olupo.
She is the second of seven children in a spiritually-driven family, where, faith, and hard work were deeply rooted.
From an early age, Funmilayo Stella demonstrated a strong spiritual inclination.
Her love for Jehovah and commitment to Bible principles led her to dedicate her life to Jehovah, symbolizing this decision through baptism in May 1994.
This marked the beginning of a life centered on faith, service, and devotion.
In the year 2000, she married Maxwell Kolawole Kumoye, a renowned journalist.
Their union has been blessed with four children, and together they have built a family anchored on spiritual values, mutual respect, and service to others.
Late Funmilayo Stella has been actively involved in the activities of the Jehovah’s Witnesses organization, serving as a Regular Pioneer, a special form of full-time ministry.
She is deeply convinced that God’s Kingdom is the only lasting solution to mankind’s problems, a belief she passionately shares through her preaching work.
Her dedication was further strengthened by her recent attendance at a special meeting for pioneers with the Circuit Overseer, an experience that reaffirmed her commitment to sacred service.
Academically, she studied Business Administration, equipping her with skills that later translated into entrepreneurship.
In 2016, she founded Stella Foods, a food business with a special focus on small chops and plantain chips.
Through diligence and consistency, the venture has become a testament to her industrious spirit and business acumen.
Widely known for her kindness, generosity, and willingness to assist others,late Mrs. Funmilayo Stella Kumoye is a woman of quiet strength and compassion.
Whether in spiritual service, family life, or business, she continues to touch lives positively, guided by faith, hard work, and an unwavering desire to help those she encounters.
