… Creates AFCON Viewing Centre For Soccer Fans
Sports Entrepreneur, and former Gombe FA Chairman, Ahmed Shuaibu Gara- Gombe has continued his grassroots sports development initiative with presentation of a cup to the Emir of Gombe to be competed for by the emirates and chiefdoms in Gombe State.
Gombe presented the cup to the Emir of Gombe when he led a delegation on a courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, the Emir of Gombe, Abubakar Shehu Abubakar lll at his palace.
The former Chairman of Gombe State Athletics Association said the visit was aimed at appreciating the Royal father’s leadership and to formally present gift items to benchmark the occasion.
Highlights of the visit was the presentation of the Gombe Emir’s Cup for a football Competition, to be competed for among the Emirates and Chiefdoms in Gombe State.
The competition is designed to promote Unity, Culture, Youth development, football development, and oneness among traditional institutions.
The Chairman/ Chief Executive Officer of Green White Green Sports Center Limited has also sponsored the establishment of a viewing center at the Emir’s palace where football fans watch AFCON matches including Super Eagles vs Morocco match.
The sports icon has been an enigma in sports management and sponsorship in Gombe State, a status his passion for sports will not abate in the nearest future
