Carabao Cup 4th Round Draw Dates,Times Unveiled

THE Carabao Cup fourth round draw dates, times and TV details have been confirmed with one Premier League team facing a nightmare run of fixtures.

Three matches will take place on Tuesday October 28, with the five remaining fixtures scheduled for the day after.

Two Prem sides are in action on Tuesday – Brentford and Fulham – who take on giant killers Grimsby Town and Wycombe Wanderers respectively.

The other match taking place is the all Welsh affair of Wrexham vs Cardiff, which will be shown live on Sky Sports Football and ITV.

That means the remaining five of England’s big six will play on Wednesday – only Manchester United have been knocked out so far.

Arsenal host Brighton in a 7:45pm kick-off, with Liverpool vs Crystal Palace, Swansea vs Manchester City and Wolves vs Chelsea taking place at the same time.

Only Newcastle vs Tottenham has a different kick-off time of 8pm due to it being selected for Sky Sports coverage.

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace will also air on Sky sports Football, with the remaining ties available to watch on Sky Sports +.

Spurs’ visit to St. James’ Park on October 29 means they will play three matches in seven days.

The tricky spell for Thomas Frank‘s side begins with a trip to Everton, with Chelsea following the clash in the north east.

And Spurs’ Champions League campaign means they face Monaco and Copenhagen either side of that spell, giving them five games in 13 days.

Newcastle also have an action-packed schedule thanks to their own European participation, with games against Benfica, Fulham, Spurs, West Ham and Athletic Club in a 15-day period.

Some fans made the audacious claim that the fourth round draw was rigged.

Some Tottenham fans were unhappy at getting Newcastle away, with one fuming: “Rigged the guy looked at the balls before picking.”

Moaning at Manchester City getting Swansea away, an Arsenal fan groaned: “City getting Swansea. RIGGED.”

The Gunners got Brighton at home, to which a Seagulls fan replied: “rigged.”
