The 2026 Edition of the Imo State version of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF Federation’s Cup has commenced in earnest with teams in the state involved.
According to a statement from the media department of Imo FA, the registration has commenced since two weeks ago and is based on the mandate of the NFF which states that registration ends January 8th, 2026.
Imo FA Chairman, Ifeanyi Dike informed that the 2026 edition is going to be action-packed with lots of football activities which will see teams compete for honours.
The Imo FA boss further added that sponsorship drives have been extended to sports loving personalities for patronage to ensure the soccer fiesta wears an outstanding approach with prices for participating teams.
Apart from assurance of proper organisation, Dike gave hint of fair and firm officiating from the referees to ensure teams get equal treatment on the field of play.
Speaking on the essence of the 2026 edition, the Imo FA urged established teams and grassroots clubs from the communities to register and be part of the show as it will be an opportunity for talent hunting and showcasing of skills for both foreign and local scouts at match venues.
